China plans to set packaging enterprises cost and interior product prices to adapt

    The eleven session of the twenty-fifth meeting of the NPC Standing Committee 27 days to consider again " the people's Republic of China Cleaner Production Promotion Law Amendment ( Draft) ", the draft stipulates that enterprises should be the product of reasonable packaging, packaging material, structure and cost should be with the inner product quality, specification and price suit, reduce the excessive packaging materials the use and generation of packaging wastes.
    The draft also stipulates, products and packaging design, consideration should be given in the life cycle of human health and the environment, preferred choose non-toxic, harmless, easy to degrade or facilitate recycling scheme.
    New construction, renovation and expansion projects shall conduct an environmental impact assessment, use of raw materials, resource consumption, comprehensive utilization of resources and the generation of pollutants to analysis and assessment, give priority to the adoption of the utilization rate of resources and generate few pollutants to cleaner production technology, craft and equipment.
    Cleaner Production Promotion Law on 2002 start implementation. Cleaner production is one of the important measures to transform the mode of development, its essential role is in the production of the whole process of reduction of pollutant generation and irrational resource consumption, so as to improve the efficiency of resources utilization.
